The Faculty of English is part of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. The Faculty was created in the year 2012. The seat of the Faculty is in Grunwaldzka 6 in Poznań.

Who is the boss of the Faculty of English?

The boss of the Faculty is known as the Dean. Between the year 2024 and 2028 the person who is the Dean is professor Joanna Pawelczyk. The Dean is helped in her word by a number of Deputy Deans and by numerous employees of the Faculty.

What does the Faculty of English do?

The Faculty’s main tasks are: to conduct scientific research and to provide higher education to university students.

The Faculty’s research includes such topics as studying literary texts, studying written and spoken language, and studying ways in which people use their language.

The Faculty’s task in higher education is to help students learn complex issues related to literature, language, and communication between people.
