We invite everyone to the next meeting of Book Lovers Among Students (BLASt), the scholarly meeting group for American literature and culture.
We’ll discuss Chris Hedges and Joe Sacco’s graphic novel Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt (2012) through the lens of “slow violence”, a term coined by Rob Nixon in his 2011 book Slow Violence and the Environmentalism of the Poor.
