The Department of Studies in Culture invites everyone to its third scholarly meeting on the 26th of March 2023 at 11.30 in Sala Górna. DeSic Scholarly meetings are a series of scholarly events organized by the Department of Studies in Culture and featuring a wide range of cultural topics. The third meeting will be hosted by dr Katarzyna Burzyńska who will present an outline of a fairly new and vibrant research field – Early Modern Trans Studies. The presentation will focus on various iterations of the trans experience captured in the dramas of Shakespeare’s era. Everyone is welcome!
