In 2023, Caryn Cline, the Executive Director of the Interbay Cinema Society, commissioned Dr. Kornelia Boczkowska (American Studies Research Unit: Language and Culture) to curate a series of touring programs of Jon Behrens’ films to commemorate his vast legacy and screen his films for new audiences.

The series debuted on April 26, 2024, at the 19th Experiments in Cinema Festival in Albuquerque, NM, directed by Bryan Konefsky, where she presented the first of her curated programs, “Analog Dreaming: Jon Behrens Revisited.”

The Interbay Cinema Society is the leading film arts organization in Seattle, WA, which supports emerging and established filmmakers through its Lightpress Grants program, the Engauge Experimental Film Festival and the ICS Educational Initiative.
