Research Day at the Faculty of English

The first Research Day at the Faculty of English took place on 17 May and 19 May 2023. Students of our Faculty had the opportunity to present their scientific projects in the form of posters, and to discuss them with other researchers.

Literary, cultural, and linguistic projects on various topics were shown. The projects concerned English and American literature, as well as Canadian and Australian literature, illustrations in novels, dialects, metaphors, and the language of advertisements or sports reports, but also research on gesture, writing systems, eyetracking research and much more. All posters were made with great care and were very interesting in terms of both content and aesthetics.
