On May 18, 2023, Dean Prof. Joanna Pawelczyk, Vice-Dean Prof. Radoslaw Dylewski and Dr. Tomasz Skirecki visited the US Army Garrison Poland - Camp Kosciuszko on the invitation of Colonel Jorge Fonseca, USA. During the meeting with Col. Fonseca and his staff, the WA representatives discussed potential ways and areas of cooperation between the Faculty of English and US Army servicemen and servicewomen stationed in Poznan. Future plans include the signing of a memorandum of understanding; organization of workshops, lectures and open events for WA students and US soldiers; and, finally, cooperation in the development of the prospective American Studies program and the American Studies Research Unit at the Faculty of English. In late June the Faculty of English will welcome U.S. officers and soldiers for a revisit. The US Army Garrison Poland - Camp Kosciuszko is located at 34 Bukowska Street, an easy 10-minute walk from Collegium Heliodori.
