Dr hab. Kornelia Boczkowska’s guest lecture at the University of Arts Linz

On June 24, 2025, dr hab. Kornelia Boczkowska from American Studies Research Unit: Language and Culture delivered a guest lecture entitled “Why Look at Dead and Disabled Animals? Animal Death and Disability in Experimental Film” in the Kepler Salon at the University of Arts Linz in the relatifs lecture series.

Relatifs is a series of guest lectures run by the University of Arts Linz since 2013 that presents interdisciplinary research conducted at the intersection of the arts, cultural studies, anthropology, media studies, philosophy and literary studies. Among the invited speakers were renowned academics and writers such as Mieke Bal, Heike Behrend, Donna J. Haraway and Slavoj Žižek.
