We are excited to share that three researchers from Bilingualism Matters@Poznań at the Faculty of English at AMU, Prof. Magdalena Wrembel, Prof. Anna Balas and Dr. Iga Krzysik, presented the activities of BM@Poznań as well as their work at the Bilingualism Matters Symposium which was held at the University of Milano-Bicocca on 28-30 April 2026!

The presentations focused on:

  • the perception of rhythm in bilingual contexts
  • reciprocal perception of Polish and Ukrainian consonants.

We enjoyed inspiring discussions, exchanging ideas with fellow researchers, and being part of this international conversation on bi- and multilingualism and speech perception.
