From November 1, 2025, to November 11, 2025, three third-year students of English and Chinese Studies (Maja Gabryelewicz, Nemo Ratajczak, and Zuzanna Zając) participated in a short-term cultural program at Shanghai Second Polytechnic University in Shanghai, China.

The program’s theme was “Chinese Purple Clay Pottery Technique and Chinese traditional culture.” Students had the opportunity to participate in art workshops, during which they created traditional pottery, jewelry, and fans. They also visited landmarks in Shanghai and Yixing, known for its traditional purple clay pottery. Students visited such places as Yixing Bamboo Sea, Zhanggong Cave, China Art Museum, and took part in a cruise on the Huangpo River.

The trip had both educational and cultural value, thanks to the opportunity to integrate with students from China. Participation in the program brought not only motivation and new experiences but also hope for further collaboration.

The report was written by Zuzanna Zając, to whom we extend our thanks
