With great joy, we announce that Ewa Tomczak-Łukaszewska from the Department of Psycholinguistic Studies at AMU Faculty of English has been honoured with the prestigious award for the best teachers at Adam Mickiewicz University in the academic year 2024/2025 – the Praeceptor Laureatus Award of the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, prof. dr hab. Bogumiła Kaniewska (AMU Rector’s Best Teacher of the Year Award).

The statuette and diploma were presented in the University Hall on October 1, 2025, during the solemn Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025/2026 at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. The Praeceptor Laureatus individual award is one of the most prestigious distinctions for teaching achievements at AMU. Candidates for the award are selected from among academic teachers who have received the highest results in student surveys evaluating their teaching and classes. The winners are chosen by all students at the Faculty in a secret ballot via USOSweb. The Praeceptor Laureatus award serves as a recognition of dedication, passion, and contribution to both student development and the shaping of the academic community.
