On 27 November 2025, a commemorative session dedicated to Prof. Henryk Zbierski, an outstanding literary scholar, anglologist, and Shakespearean expert, was held in the Aula of Collegium Heliodori Święcicki. The year 2025 marked both the 100th anniversary of his birth and the 30th anniversary of his passing, giving the event a particularly meaningful dimension.
The programme included reflections shared by the Professor’s colleagues and students, an overview of his scholarly achievements and his contributions to the development of English Studies in Poznań, as well as readings of selected excerpts from his academic writings and poetry.
