Teaching specialization
During the first cycle of studies (BA) students who chose the teacher training programme are offered, apart from all the regular courses in English philology, classes in psychology, pedagogy, and methodology of teaching English as a foreign language.version in Polish (wersja w języku polskim)
The teacher training programme at the Faculty of English follows the requirements formulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of July 25, 2019 (published in the Journal of Laws of August 2, 2019, item 1450) on the standard of education preparing for the teaching profession.
During the first cycle of studies (BA) students who chose the teaching specialization are offered, apart from all the regular courses in English philology, classes in psychology, pedagogy, and methodology of teaching English as a foreign language. They are also required to complete apprenticeships in primary and secondary schools. The prerequisite for obtaining full qualifications to teach English is the completion of second-cycle studies in English philology.

The initial admission is for the study programme—English Philology. Once admitted to the programme, students may apply for their specialization of choice.
